Are you a passionate and qualified Science Teacher with expertise in Biology or Chemistry? The Education Network is seeking an experienced Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school on a long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher to deliver high-quality lessons and contribute to the academic success of students at both GCSE and A-Level.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in Biology or Chemistry, up to A-Level standard.
2. Plan and implement effective teaching strategies that cater to a diverse range of learning abilities and styles.
3. Monitor student progress through assessments, providing feedback to support academic development.
4. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level exams, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to succeed.
5. Collaborate with other members of the Science department to share resources and best practices.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum and relevant educational developments.
7. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated to achieve their best.
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. Strong subject knowledge in Biology or Chemistry.
3. Proven experience teaching Science at GCSE and A-Level.
4. Ability to inspire and motivate students, fostering a love for science.
5. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
6. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
7. A commitment to professional development and staying current with changes in the education sector.
