Job Description:
We are looking for a Park Manager with Grounds and Maintenance Manager duties to join our team at Blenheim Palace Lodge Retreat in Woodstock, Oxfordshire. Fantastic competitive salary!
This is a dual role, we are looking for someone who will oversee the day-to-day running of the resort as well as provide hands-on support to the Grounds and Maintenance team.
This is a permanent position to work full-time hours. This will be 40 hours across 5 days which will be Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business.
This role includes on-call hours on a rota basis, further details will be discussed upon application.
About The Role
Main responsibilities:
* Assist with Park Manager duties.
* Be responsible for the day-to-day running and efficient operations of the resort.
* Ensure the effective structure of the resort.
* Ensure staff motivation is high and identify staff training where required.
* Assist and manage completion of any renovation projects or redecoration.
* Complete any planned daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks.
* Work with the team to complete general grounds maintenance.
* Complete grass cutting, strimming, and edging.
* Ensure the resort is kept clean and free of debris.
* Complete any necessary paperwork following repairs and maintenance.
Requirements:
* Previous Management experience is desirable.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* A positive work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills.
* A driving licence and ability to drive is an advantage to enable easy travel to and from the retreat.
