As part of our ambitious expansion, we aim to acquire 5 new corporate clients in the next 12 months, and we’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Business Development Manager / Sales Director to drive this growth.
This is an opportunity for an experienced sales professional who thrives on building relationships, crafting high-value deals, and winning clients without the backing of a major brand name or unlimited marketing budget.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Sales Strategy
* Identify and engage mid-to-large corporate clients (Fortune 500/mid-market).
* Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to acquire 5+ new enterprise clients in 12 months.
* Manage the full sales cycle – prospecting, relationship-building, proposal development, and closing deals.
* Sell consulting, outsourcing advisory, and digital transformation solutions in a consultative manner.
Lead Generation & Networking
* Leverage existing network, referrals, LinkedIn, and high-touch outreach to generate leads.
* Develop C-suite and senior stakeholder relationships to position Vertex Agility as a trusted advisor.
* Identify industry events, networking groups, and partnerships to enhance brand visibility.
Sales Execution & Revenue Growth
* Craft compelling business cases and value propositions tailored to client needs.
* Work with internal consultants to align solutions with client pain points and business objectives.
* Develop customized proposals and pitch decks that effectively communicate value.
* Negotiate and close enterprise-level deals, ensuring sustainable revenue growth.
Market & Competitive Insights
* Analyze market trends, industry shifts, and competitor activities to refine sales approaches.
* Stay ahead of emerging client needs in outsourcing, business transformation, and digital consulting.
Who We’re Looking For
✅ Proven Hunter Sales Experience
* 8+ years in business development / sales in a boutique consultancy, BPO, or digital transformation firm.
* Track record of winning large corporate deals (six- to seven-figure contracts).
* Experience in selling consulting, outsourcing, or managed services solutions.
✅ Industry Knowledge & Network
* Strong network within enterprise clients in sectors such as finance, tech, retail, healthcare, or professional services.
* Deep understanding of outsourcing, business transformation, or technology consulting.
✅ Strategic & Consultative Selling Approach
* Able to sell without relying on a big brand name – persuasive, insightful, and value-driven.
* Skilled in C-suite engagement, relationship management, and strategic negotiations.
* Experience in tailoring solutions to complex business challenges.
✅ Entrepreneurial Mindset & Drive
* Comfortable working in a boutique consultancy environment – hands-on, resourceful, and proactive.
