If so, we are looking to recruit a full time Specialist MSK Physiotherapist to join the outpatient team in the RUH Adult Therapies Department. The applicant will need to demonstrate significant experience in the MSK field to a specialist level, as well as excellent communications skills and be flexible to be able to meet the complex demands of the service. The successful candidate will be involved in the supervision and teaching of Band 5 Physiotherapy staff, Therapy Assistants and Physiotherapy students. The department has a positive approach to continuing professional development and there is an active in-service training programme. Main duties of the job To provide a high quality Physiotherapy service in MSK Outpatients. To perform advanced Physiotherapeutic assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients who may have diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions. To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner, hold responsibility for own caseload and be responsible for a defined area of the service or a particular patient type, working without direct supervision.
