For more information - Co-op Live We’re excited to announce we are looking for talented Show Engineer to follow direction from the Head of IT, to deliver a unique hospitality food and beverage service offering for our premium guests. This role requires the ability to identify and fix hardware and software issues, as well as repair hardware devices. You will be o n site technical resource covering all show dates at the Co-op Live arena plus occasional non show dates as and when required. Additionally, excellent client interaction skills are essential. Once you have completed your induction training, as a Show Technician, you will be responsible for systems during the Event days, refurbish, and maintain various types of technical equipment, such as EPOS equipment, chip and pin devices, tablets, digital menu boards, media screens, kitchen management systems, routers, Wi-Fi, and other industry-related IT equipment. Due to scheduled working hours all applicants must be 18. This is a casual role offering flexible shifts available around your other commitments - involves shifts at evenings and weekends. Salary: up to £28,000 - £33,000 per annum, depending on experience Start Date: based upon completion of DBS check. Knowledge, skills & Experience Experience in installing EPOS within the retail or hospitality industry would be ideal. (Candidates with experience in IT Technical Support, Installations, Telecoms / Broadband Engineering or a similar environment where hardware devices are installed, supported, and troubleshot, will also be considered.) 1 year of IT Technical Support Experience. 1 year of EPOS experience (preferred). Hands on approach and ability to work under minimal supervision. Understanding of the hospitality F&B industry and relevant F&B operational systems. Intermediate to advance level ability of MS Functions.
