About the Team
Surrey virtual schools has a number of different cohorts of children who we support in different ways. This role is primarily with children looked after. The concept of a 'Virtual School' is a way of bringing together the educational information about children and young people who are cared for by the local authority as if they were a single school – no matter where in the country they live.
We are a strong and stable team of professionals dedicated to improving the educational experiences and outcomes of children and young people in our cohorts. We work collaboratively with schools, carers, social workers and other professionals to create a culture of high expectation and aspiration, addressing barriers to educational progress and achievement.
