Job description
Overview of Department: The SPEAR Launcher Systems team is dedicated to supporting the full range of SPEAR weapons, ensuring their reliability and effectiveness. Key responsibilities include validating launcher functionality, supporting subsystem equipment design, and collaborating across various domain teams such as Electrical Design, Pneumatics, Security, and Safety.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Head of Launcher Systems in overseeing launcher-related activities.
2. Analyze high-level design documentation to define and document required subsystem functional behavior.
3. Produce sequence diagrams, activity views, requirements, and test points within a configuration-controlled Rhapsody model and DOORS database.
4. Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to facilitate thorough review of artifacts across different teams.
5. Provide support in addressing queries and non-compliances associated with delivered artifacts.
Skillset/Experience Required:
Essential:
6. Strong background in Systems Engineering.
7. Proficiency with Model-Based Systems Engineering tools.
8. Experience in Requirements Elicitation.
9. Ability to verify requirements and review evidence.
10. Quick grasp of technical information.
Desirable:
11. Specific tool knowledge: IBM DOORS / IBM Rhapsody / IBM Engineering Workflow Management.
12. Previous experience with air-launched weapons.
13. Experience in managing requirements for software-heavy equipment or integrating software-heavy equipment.
