A fantastic school in Kidderminster is looking for Special Needs Teaching Assistants! The school caters to pupils across all key stages with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The post requires an experienced individual who can work as part of a team and is child-centered in their approach.

The post is 5 days a week, with an ASAP start on a long-term basis. This role is very rewarding and ideal for teaching assistants who have SEND experience or who have supported pupils with behavioral difficulties. The school has a strong track record in providing the right support, training, and guidance for their staff to be equipped with the tools to be the best possible teaching assistant.
The successful applicant will need:
1. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
2. To be conscientious, enthusiastic, and positive
3. Excellent classroom and behavior management skills
4. Restraint Training (e.g., Team Teach, MAPA, PRICE) - Desirable
5. A flexible approach to teaching
