What’s the purpose of role:
You will be accountable for the maintenance of an accurate data base, ensuring that all information is correct and compliant inline, with specific airline and business requirements. You will review, action and maintain accurate and timely information into cBase to meet the needs of both the airline and the business.
Who you’ll deal with:
Internal: Senior Management Team, Operational Service Delivery Team, Unit Function Managers, Compliance Team, Financial Team, IT Team, Supply Chain Team, Human Resources, Customer Services, Sales and Commercial Team
External: Airline Customers
What you’ll be doing:
* Ensure accurate and timely information is added to cBase following the correct processes to suit business requirements and those of the airline customer
* To ensure that the menu readiness document is updated on a regular basis and that the unit managers are kept informed of any deviations or delays to confirmed processes and time frames
* To ensure correct coding conventions are followed at all times for both food and non-food items
* To prepare and where applicable to issue information in an accurate and timely manner to the business users of cBase
* Create labels for the purpose of coding bars within the warehouse and product transfer
* Create packing instructions and equipment packing details
* Forecast information for production and produce gallery loading plans
* Produce information for procurement ordering use
* Ensure that all information is processed in accordance to specific airline requirements and with adequate timescales to meet the business needs
* Ensure that menu cycle and loading changes are implemented within the required time parameters whilst adhering to business processes
* Ensure accurate information is entered at the correct levels within the database to assist with all reports including production sheets, purchase orders, finance, labour controls and the loading of aircraft
* Maintain accurate airline specific equipment files, requesting new SAP codes as required and ensuring unit data reflects the correct information
* Work with the business requirements for Heathrow and where applicable regional to ensure data fields reflect the organisational structures
* Ensure that correct structured billing information to assist the financial business of invoicing within accounting periods
* Ensure queries and issues are reviewed and resolved as soon as possible and with limited effect to the operational business
* Highlighting on-going issues to the Data Manager, Account Managers and cBase Technical Analyst
* Adhering to ALL legislation, company policy and customer requirement
* To assist other members of the cBase team when required
* Where applicable access airline dedicated websites to obtain, download or process information in accordance with airline requirements

What you’ll have:
* Experience in the airline industry particularly with in the food production or equipment area’s
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbally and written, with experience of professionally liaising with colleagues, managers and external customers on the telephone daily
* Strong IT skills; experience of Microsoft Access, Excel, Office, Word
* Ability to adapt to different databases including in house systems
* High level of analytical skills, including attention to detail and accuracy, must be methodical, and logical in their approach to work
* Ability to solve problems quickly using own initiative
* Prioritise and manage own workloads effectively
* Ability to multi task, work within strict time frames and meet deadlines
* Ability to work under own initiative, to plan work processes and maintain well documented auditable files
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility within the working day to accommodate meetings and timeframe demands

What’s special about the role:
The Role of cBase Coordinator work as part of a dedicated team purely focused on cBase activity. Accountable for inputting data, ensuring that documentation and content is accurate and complete. A transactional role focused on the inputting and accuracy of information. Direction and guidance is easily accessible via the management team. No direct budget or people management responsibility will work within defined management parameters highlighting any concerns to be addressed by a manager. No specific qualifications required decision making based on the system and role knowledge with guidance as needed. Will be required to interact with the team, colleagues from other process areas and possibly suppliers.
