A fast growing specialist provider of passive fire protection services is looking for experienced fire stoppers to join their team. You will be working on largely commercial projects, carrying out new installations and remediation works to fire resistant materials. The works will be mostly London/M25 based and will cover varying building types such as student accommodation, hospitals, office blocks and schools.
With this contractor having ambitious growth plans for 2025, projects may be secured across the UK meaning there may be occasional requirements to work/stay away.
The successful candidate will have:
* At least three years’ fire stopping experience
* NVQ level 2 passive fire protection
* Valid CSCS card
* Experience with batt and mastic, linear seals and compound installations
* Fire curtain experience desired but not essential
* Surveying experience would be an advantage
* Experience working in a variety of live building environments
Roles and Responsibilities
* Installing and carrying out remedial works to penetrations and wider compartmentation
* Complete works in line with the manufacture’s specification
* Document works on a step-by-step basis, ensuring evidence is taken accurately
* Problem solving and being able to overcome unforeseen issues with the work
* Liaise with customers and members of the general public
