We are looking for an enthusiastic and focussed Transformation Lead to cover our permanent post holder who is on secondment for 10 months. This would be an ideal opportunity for someone who is interested in leading service improvement projects at network level. The Thames Valley and Wessex CYP Operational Delivery Network includes six networks and you would be expected to support all of them, working on specific projects and work programmes. Please note this is a working from home job, travel within Thames Valley and Wessex is expected., The post holder will be responsible for supporting the ODN by:
* training, coaching and supporting employees in improvement methods
* running improvement projects
* supporting Lead Nurses with large scale change programmes
* providing colleagues with support and tools required to lead improvement projects
* analysing data and networking with diverse stakeholders, to produce compelling arguments for change
* communicating with a varied mixture of stakeholders from "Ward to Board" - providers, ICBs and regional colleagues
* Keep in touch with colleagues across other networks, identifying best practice and projects that could be transferred to TVW, Engage with staff on all levels to help them understand the goals of the network and how it will impact their clinical / working practices
* Work with clinical and non-clinical staff to identify, plan and deliver improvement projects
* Provide structured and 'on the job training' in the use of improvement tools and techniques and project management
* Share good practice on quality schemes across the network
* Horizon scanning for upcoming quality improvement projects - staying informed with GIRFT and national programmes of care.
* Work with teams to support service improvement using improvement concepts and appropriate tools
* Produce benchmarking and best practice case studies to support the delivery and communication of the ODN workplan
* Act as the network expert in running quality service reviews, maintaining document templates and supporting Lead Nurses to run the review.
Project Management:
* Develop and maintain document templates for use by Lead Nurses
* Responsible and accountable for identifying the need for change control and any configuration management issues at project level
* Undertakes status review meetings among key stakeholders and team members
* Produce progress reports on the projects ongoing across the CYP ODNs detailing the progress against plan, next steps, and raising issues and risks, with mitigating actions and potential implications
* Utilise MS planner and MS project to support ODN teams to manage projects

* Support the Lead Nurses to drive a culture of continuous improvement

* Work across the full network footprint to share learning, reporting to specialty and CYP boards as required.
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience in a role
* Qualification in Service or Quality Improvement techniques or relevant experience
* Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
