As a ESG and Sustainability Reporting Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in assisting our clients in identifying, assessing, and managing their ESG risks and opportunities. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding organisations towards sustainable practices and ensuring compliance with ESG regulations and reporting requirements.
We would love to hear from you if you have the following competencies and experience:
* Knowledge of ESG reporting standards and frameworks (e.g. GRI, ISSB, SASB, UN Global Compact) and methodologies for assessing ESG risks and opportunities.
* Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering ESG strategy and reporting projects within a consultancy or client-facing environment.
* Ability to establish and maintain client relationships, with a focus on delivering value and building long-term partnerships.
* Experience in conducting materiality assessments (i.e. impact, financial and double materiality) and leading stakeholder engagement processes to gather input for materiality assessments.
* Bachelor's or master's degree in environmental management, sustainability or a related field.
We are looking for someone with the following skills and behaviours:
* Analytical abilities to assess ESG data, identify trends and quantify risks and opportunities.
* Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear and actionable ESG reports for a range of stakeholders.
* Stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to influence and present effectively.
* Experience in project management, including the ability to manage, coordinate, and prioritise activities to ensure the delivery of deliverables on time and within budget.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively, providing support to colleagues and contributing to team success.
* Comfortable managing a variety of tasks in a fast-paced operational environment while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Your main responsibilities would be:
* Lead ESG reporting projects, building and maintaining strong client relationships through regular communication and support.
* Develop and deliver comprehensive ESG materiality assessments tailored to each client's unique needs.
* Lead stakeholder engagement exercises, including conducting interviews, surveys, and workshops to gather valuable input for materiality assessments.
* Oversee the analysis of ESG data and metrics, identifying trends, risks and opportunities relevant to each client.
* Create detailed materiality assessment reports that provide actionable insights and recommendations for clients and ensure alignment with ESG reporting standards.
* Stay up to date with evolving ESG regulations and industry best practices to ensure clients remain compliant.
* Contribute to the development of client proposals and bids, identifying opportunities for future work and supporting business growth.
