Supported by the wider Infrastructure Projects Delivery Quality team, you will be the key lead to ensure projects are delivered to the Quality requirements by working in the project teams and with the supply chain. Opportunity to progress to Quality Manager with line management responsibilities. Key accountabilities of this position include: Managing & leading Quality, collaboratively within Project Teams and the supply chain, delivering new build projects Contribute to a positive Quality Culture from Project Kick-Off to Handover with all stakeholders. Support to supplier/sub-supplier mobilisation and integration post contract award. Act as the Intelligent Client representative for AWE. Task managing, mentoring, training and coaching Quality Engineers. Lead Quality at key stakeholder meetings including design and technical reviews. Review of supplier Quality Plans and support to wider project artefact reviews. Conducting/leading internal project and supplier capability audits. Leading workshops to promote performance improvement. Presenting quality data to key stakeholders and for reporting metrics and KPIs. Leading and planning supplier surveillance & Quality Control, e.g., ITPs and FAT activities. Management of NCRs using root cause analysis quality tools. Working on a nuclear licenced site / within the nuclear industry or similar highly regulated industry. Experience of a graded approach to quality, e.g., Quality Control Grades 1-5. Working within an NEC framework for project delivery. We do need you to have the following: A proven track record of influencing and engaging with key stakeholders. Experience in construction, capital project delivery or engineering is required. Relevant BTEC HNC/HND or equivalent qualification and/or experience. Membership of a recognised related professional body, or working towards e.g., CQI / IRCA. ISO9001 Lead Auditor trained and relevant audit experience. Good knowledge of national and international quality standards, e.g., ISO9001, AQAP-2110. Identifying and implementing opportunities for process and cost efficiencies/improvements.
