Job Title: English and Maths GCSE Intervention Tutor Location: England, Greater London, Ilford Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide individualised support to students requiring intervention in English and Maths GCSE subjects Develop tailored lesson plans to address specific learning needs Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths at the GCSE level Knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience in English and Maths Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of pedagogical techniques for supporting struggling students Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate and engage students in their learning Experience working with students with special educational needs Working Conditions: Part-time hours, flexible schedule Work primarily in a school or learners home setting Opportunity for remote tutoring sessions All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
