Your Role:
Provide personal secretarial/administrative support to the Senior Military Officer/s within the area of responsibility and ADSL Management.
To be responsible for communication correspondence of a confidential nature i.e., letters and correspondence in line with ADSL and Defence guidelines and standards, to diary management ensuring the effective prioritisation and allocation of time and resources to assist the Senior Officer.
Organise logistical and all other requirements to support the Senior Officers role, interacting with the wider branch and external contacts and stakeholders as required.
Managing and updating records, rolls, contact sheets, email groups etc to ensure accuracy, currency, and integrity, along with filing of documentation etc, also archiving, and securely disposing of sensitive information where appropriate.
What Were Looking For:
Qualifications: Proven experience of complex diary management, including proactively managing diaries, anticipating problems, and resolving any conflicts that occur. Have experience of high-quality communication and stakeholder management. With a good level of literacy and IT skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
Experience: Proven experience of providing clerical support including PA services at a senior level. Previous experience of working within the MoD would be advantageous.
Skills: Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written). Is highly organised, enthusiastic, confident, motivated, reliable, and helpful. Has the ability to work on own initiative, accurately to tight deadlines, paying attention to detail and prioritising between conflicting demands whilst problem solving.
Undertake online and in person training courses as required by ADSL & the MOD.
Ability to pass security vetting to SC will be required.
