This is an exciting opportunity to join our operational team at our new site in Stevenage as a Maintenance Supervisor.
The Maintenance Supervisor oversees and performs technical and mechanical work that ensures the inside and external buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the community meet standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality by performing maintenance-related tasks.
Primary responsibilities include maintenance of the community, including overall inspections, repairs, and general maintenance of ready apartments and other interior/exterior areas. You will manage the day-to-day operations of the Maintenance team ensuring work is completed in a timely manner and to a high standard, delivering exceptional customer service.
If you're ready to be our next Maintenance Supervisor, you'll probably:
1. Complete assigned work orders generated from requests for service, as well as routine upkeep on the property by diagnosing the source or cause of the defect or problem, and making repairs in accordance with established policies, procedures, and safety standards.
2. Have demonstrable experience in a supervisory role.
3. Be proficient in executing exceptional customer service within a customer-facing role.
4. Have excellent written and spoken English.
5. Complete documentation and other paperwork timely and accurately so that service requests can be appropriately documented and tracked.
6. Have excellent relationship-building skills, both with entirely new and long-term team members.
7. Be an efficient and organized individual with excellent communication skills and a sensitive, professional, and well-mannered nature.
8. Be able to work exceptionally well within a team dynamic and contribute to an established open culture.
9. Have the ability to follow company policies and procedures.
