Akita Systems Limited is a leading IT managed service provider. Established in 1996, we support over 300 organisations across London and the South East.
Our technical expertise and high standards of customer service have seen our growth accelerate, and we are now looking for a new Account Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate will be able to appropriately identify the needs of both new and current customers in order to aid customers in their success using our product. This will be done by developing an appropriate level of communication with clients and internal team members to better understand and mitigate any issues the customers may face.
Responsibilities
1. Be responsible for a number of key customer accounts, for which you will be the dedicated AM, and provide strategic planning for their IT needs.
2. Strive to achieve targets set by the Sales and Marketing Director, suggesting new initiatives to enhance results.
3. Meet with clients to actively promote the Company’s portfolio of products and services, demonstrating a return on investment.
4. Create quotes, proposals, pitches, and service level agreements to provide a professional and considered representation of the Akita brand and the “value added” to clients.
5. Demonstrate integrity, working respectfully to enhance the client’s IT services.
6. Take ownership of the accounts allocated to you and demonstrate outstanding customer service.
7. Perform customer reviews for your allocated accounts.
8. Maintain good working knowledge of the Akita and Business Applications portfolio of services to seize opportunities, increasing and improving the customer’s products and services.
9. Demonstrate a general understanding of project management.
10. Proactively build internal relationships within Akita to drive new business opportunities and manage demands from the existing client base.
11. Work with the projects team to make sure that the transition from sale to project delivery is efficient and profitable.
12. Work with Sales and Project teams to competently onboard new customers, and ensure the transition to Akita is effective and efficient.
13. Work with Marketing to make sure that sales collateral remains fresh.
Requirements
1. Proven Account Management experience, preferably within an MSP.
2. The ability to achieve results and reach targets.
3. A multi-faceted approach to generating new business, assessing methods against return on investment.
4. High standards of customer service.
5. A keen level of attention to detail.
6. A history of being a proven self-starter.
7. A logical, methodical approach to the task at hand.
8. A willingness to learn and teach.
9. Excellent documentation and communication skills.
