The role of DBS Nurse Specialist is to deliver a high quality, specialist service to adult patients from the age of 18 throughout their journey, acting as a source of advice and information for patients, carers, and health professionals and work in collaboration with other members of the neurosurgical / movement disorders team. The overriding purpose of the post is to support the provision of highest quality patient care through personal actions and continuous improvement.
