Protocol Education is working with local schools in the area to appoint enthusiastic and committed Science Teachers and specialists to join their teams. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for Science, working with young people, and making a positive impact on their lives and education.
Roles Available in Areas of: Bath, NE Somerset, Somerset, and surrounding areas
Start Date: Easter/September 2025
Employment Type: Full-time - part-time/job shares are also encouraged to apply and will be considered
Qualified Teachers paid to scale
QTS/ECT preferred. Schools are also happy to receive applicants from Unqualified Teachers with Subject Specialism.

Job Duties:
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons to students - Unqualified Teachers not expected to plan
2. Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback
3. Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to enhance learning
4. Establish a positive and supportive learning environment
5. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and student support
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT is preferred.
Degree/Experience in Science or a related field
Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Science
Experience:
Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary school level is preferred
Experience working with children/young people within education or a similar field (coaching, youth work, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent understanding of Science concepts and principles
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
