Maintain the required technical quality of work by adhering to and complying with relevant discipline specific Procedures and provide feedback for continuous improvement Identify scope and schedule changes in accordance with the Change Control Process Ensure that designs comply with the relevant procedures and regulations by keeping up to date with relevant regulatory framework and legislation. Executing of assigned personal objectives. Keep up to date with technical developments, National and International standards and legislative requirements related to discipline work scope Assist in the preparation of estimates and schedules and assist in their review Prepare for and carry out visit sites when necessary Technically competent in own discipline and actively maintains own competence according to standards and pursues continuous professional development. Encourage and provide lateral learning within the project Participate in audits and investigations as required Qualifications Degree in engineering, or applicable related discipline Chartered Engineer status CEng MICE or MIStructE preferred Experience in civil engineering design in accordance with current codes of practice including Eurocodes Awareness of key health and safety impacts for civil engineering construction contracts Desirable Understanding of engineering delivery management Experience taking lead roles on part or whole projects for a wider team Experience training and developing others as well as yourself Ability to work effectively in a diverse team About Us Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
