As Business Partner you will play a critical part in the progress and achievement of business unit growth through provision of analytical and commercial support for projects/bids as well as owning and driving the billing and revenue recognition.
Internal and external FP&A, risk & control management and customer interfaces are also central to succeeding in the role.
Your new role
* Ensure all business activities are carried out in accordance with, and in the spirit of, local legislative requirements. This will include driving delivery of the financials including P&L, Capex, billing, and debt management etc.
* Bring clear understanding of, and application of contractual mechanisms to financials, becoming a trusted advisor to commercial and technical teams.
* There are also risk and control responsibilities with the role.
* Provide timely action orientated financial reporting relevant to performance of the business unit, including stages of lead to cash. This includes monthly reporting & FP&A and the annual budget cycle.
* Establish and preserve positive relationships at a senior level, with internal and external stakeholders to champion fair value return.
* Support the development and implementation of the strategy for the unit by working with the team to provide insights and key reports. You’ll have an innovative mindset to help propagate new ideas and opportunity.
What you'll need to succeed
* Qualified Accountant and an established Business Partner, with experience of managing P&L and/or Capex.
* Ability to use various techniques to engage and influence stakeholders and land key messages. You are seen as a "go-to" person due to your partnering skills and team player who sees success through the combined achievements.
* Excellent Financial analysis, insights and data analytics experience.
* Able to coach others and develop your understanding of changes to economic and financial principles and practices.
* Proven background in continuous improvement of finance processes and systems.
* Ability to anticipate and recognise obstacles in work processes between teams and make suggestions for ongoing productivity improvements.
