JOB DESCRIPTION
Personal Assistant
A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF
I am a 71 year old man living in the Cogan area of Penarth. I am young at heart and have a great sense of humour. I enjoy the outdoors and was very active until I suffered a life changing stroke in November 2022. Despite these issues I remain positive in all aspects of my recovery. I am able to walk for short periods and use a mobility device when out and about.
My main hobbies are watching football and Rugby, I am an avid Liverpool Supporter. I enjoy listening to a range of music and enjoy cooking with the support of my wife who is also my full time carer. I enjoy trips to local attractions such as the beach and parks and also enjoy meeting new people and going for coffee.
My support needs would be to support me to attend my local gym 3 times a week. This provides me opportunity to have physiotherapy within stroke group and provides social support with other stroke survivors.
I would like a PA to have a sunny and positive outlook on life, to be able to talk about football and share my passion for sport particularly my team Liverpool!
I would like to be supported to go out and watch big games in my local. I would need support with transport and ensuring I can use the disabled toilet safely.
I enjoy going outdoors whenever I can and I am signed up to pedal power in Sophia Gardens Cardiff, which I would like to go more often to. If I am being supported at home I would like support to cook and work on my garden.
