To have a working knowledge of the Childrens Therapy Services provided by Mid Yorkshire Hospital Trust and understand the systems and processes involved in Service provision. Have key responsibility for undertaking admin duties to support and to ensure smooth running of the team To know the professional and personal scope of your own practice The ability to work within Trust policies, procedures and departmental standards. To have an understanding of Trust structures To be able to organise own workload taking into account the priority needs of the service To be able to use office machinery e.g. computer, photocopier. To provide an efficient customer service, undertaking clerical and reception duties as required within the department. Promote effective customer focused communication with patients and service users. To contribute to the management of patient appointments via telephone, face to face contact, by letter, or via email. To be responsible for the accurate and timely storing/scanning of records, e.g. referral letters. To be able to complete relevant standardised electronic forms and other official documents. Assist with managing multi-disciplinary referrals, assessment waiting lists, reporting to the MDA co-ordinator. Uphold the trusts values and beliefs to maintain a professional approach at all times.
