Slug Disco Studios is an independent games studio founded in 2014. We are best known for developing an insect themed PC strategy game called “Empires of the Undergrowth” which was released in Steam’s Early Access programme in December 2017.
Despite being fully remote, we try to foster a very collaborative work environment where everyone can work to their strengths, ask for help, and team up on difficult jobs.
The ideal candidate should be interested in strategy games, ideally both from a development perspective and as a player. We feel that this is really important for you to be able to enjoy your work.
Responsibilities include:
* Modelling creatures (particularly insects) based on photographs, sketches and descriptions.
* Texturing these models.
* Animating these models.
* Working with the development team in order to identify solutions for integrating the above assets with the game project.
Desired skills:
* Experience in 3D modelling software
* Experience in 3D animation software
* Experience in 3D model texturing software
