About the Role
A well-established and dynamic law firm is seeking a Front of House Receptionist to provide professional and welcoming support to clients, visitors, and the wider legal team. This role is integral to maintaining high standards of client service and office efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional reception.
* Answer and direct telephone calls across multiple office locations, screening as necessary.
* Promptly take and relay messages to relevant team members.
* Manage incoming and outgoing post efficiently.
* Assist with distributing office equipment and supplies.
* Oversee stationery orders and stock management.
* Arrange refreshments for client meetings and in-house discussions.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment, including conference rooms and communal areas.
* Ensure noticeboards display up-to-date and relevant information (e.g., Health & Safety).
* Handle scanning, photocopying, and filing tasks as needed.
* Support management and the wider team with administrative tasks as required.
Candidate Requirements
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a reception or administrative role.
* Strong communication skills with a professional and client-focused approach.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, legal environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Word (advantageous).
* Highly organized, adaptable, and proactive in handling day-to-day office operations.
