Job summary We are recruiting for a Advanced Clinical Practitioner - Children's Services who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients. Your will be practicing autonomously as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) within Children's Emergency Department and assessment area (CAU). This fantastic standalone CED/CAU has 4 majors bays, 2 HDU bays, 2 resus bays, with a co-located CAU and decision unit. Main duties of the job This role encompasses the skills of assessment, examination, diagnosis, and treatment within an agreed scope of practice throughout acute services. You will support a new way of working that emphasises a more efficient and patient focused service, and will ensure the safe referral and discharge of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed presentations across a service area. You will deliver an 80% clinical component to their role and 20% related to appraisal, clinical audit, teaching, self-development, development of the service and research. You will be working in partnership with our PEM and paediatric doctors.
