In these Monday to Friday, Mobile Catering Supervisor posts, you would be responsible for all activities in the kitchen and its surrounds including cooking, organisation and supervision of food service.
Supervising staff working in the kitchen.
You must be aware of HACCP Procedures and ensure all Paperwork is completed and submitted according.
Understanding dietary and nutritional needs.
Duties may also include transporting and serving of meals, general kitchen and dining room duties (for example washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables), and cleaning of the kitchen, its surround.
We have permanent vacancies to join our teams within Primary or High Schools in Glenrothes and Lochgelly with a High School as a base:
Glenrothes
1. Auchmuty High School – working 30 hours per week on a 38-week contract, from 8:00am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday.
Lochgelly
2. Lochgelly High School base – working 30 hours per week on a 52-week contract, between 7:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday as required.
You will earn a competitive salary of £23,633.23 to £25,829.49pro-rata and annualised payments with access to a range of benefits, including:
3. £12.59 per hour to start, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
4. Pay is annualised (equal instalments every 4 week pay period)

6. Travel expenses will be paid – we pay 45 pence per mile to staff using their own car.

Training on In House systems will be provided. Working towards an Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate will be essential once in post.
The Person
Catering Experience or a Qualification such as an SVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent is essential for this post.
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a Team.
Have the ability to travel to numerous locations within the specified area of work at short notice.
You will be required to attend Induction Training before starting in post.
