The Devon Business Intelligence Shared Service was created in February 2024 to provide BI services to the Devon system. The Service is hosted by the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, comprising analysts, data engineers, data scientists, and Cogito developers from Royal Devon and Devon ICB, delivering BI for these organisations.

Job responsibilities
An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Devon Business Intelligence Shared Service for enthusiastic Senior Information Analysts to support the delivery of information analysis and Business Intelligence solutions. These positions offer proactive and motivated candidates the chance to expand current proficiencies and develop new skills within a changing and challenging environment.
The postholder(s) will work closely with colleagues across the Business Intelligence Shared Service and various clinical, managerial, and finance staff from organisations across the Devon Health and Social Care System, to gain a better understanding of the System's performance and to support the delivery of its key objectives. The position will require a good understanding of key Health and Social Care datasets alongside the analytical and statistical techniques that can be applied to healthcare information.
The post holder(s) will be part of a team that supports the implementation and development of the Population Health Management, Medicines management, and Primary Care suites of Business Intelligence (BI) tools to enable and deliver the NHS Devon ICB's performance monitoring and information reporting requirements.
This role(s) will be suited to a self-motivated and talented individual that is dedicated to working as part of an effective and ambitious informatics team.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week. Typically Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm with flexible working options.

Pay: The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 2024-5 rates, inclusive of a 5.5% pay award implemented from October 2024. If you join before this date, the pay award will be backdated to April 2024 or your start date, whichever is later. Until then, remuneration will be based on the 2023-4 pay bandings.
