Adecco are delighted to be partnering with a London Borough Council in their recruitment of an interim Construction Services Officer.
Post Holder Duties
1. Lead on monitoring of Payment Certificates and Invoice processing for all suppliers and assist the relevant delivery officers in ensuring efficient payment/certificate processing.
2. Co-ordinate, update and monitor the Asset Planning & Capital Delivery Team's centralised data storage and Project trackers.
3. Provide technical support and assistance to the Asset Planning & Capital Delivery Team.
4. Process NEC new orders and payment requests.
5. Maintain payment process trackers and procedure maps.
6. Assist with Contract administration including checking and uploading documents to COPS and assist TST processing.
7. Actively participate and contribute to the development of NEC and the integration of new modules, processes, and improvements into the service area as they develop.
8. Assist with general administration functions, including minute taking, room booking, meeting arrangements, and document circulations.
Key Requirements
1. Very good / Advanced MS Excel skills.
2. Experience in collating & inputting information into Excel and producing spreadsheets for collation and summary of multiple data inputs.
3. Experience in using other MS 365 suite of applications (Word, etc.).
4. Very good administrative, organisation, and co-ordination skills.
5. Very good updating and monitoring skills for centralising data storage and project trackers for the Asset Planning and Capital Delivery Service.
6. Experience of using housing-related databases.
7. Awareness and understanding of working in a Social Housing setting - Social Housing construction industry services setting is desirable.
8. Experience with dealing with members of the public.
