Job Responsibilities
The Science Teacher will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging science lessons to students. This includes creating lesson plans, conducting experiments, and assessing student progress. The teacher will also be expected to provide feedback to students and communicate with parents regarding their child's academic performance.
Minimum Requirements
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
2. Degree in a relevant scientific field
3. Bachelor's degree in Science or related field
4. Prior experience teaching science at the secondary school level
5. Strong understanding of the national curriculum for science
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
7. Ability to inspire and motivate students
8. Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent
9. Experience working with diverse student populations
The Science Teacher will work in a classroom setting within a secondary school. The role may involve working additional hours for lesson planning and grading. The teacher will collaborate with other faculty members and participate in school events and meetings as required.
