Audiebant has an exciting opportunity for an Accountant to join our team, based in Kirkham. You will be working on a full time, permanent basis, working 36.5 hours per week and in return, you will receive a salary of £35,000 to £40,000 per annum dependant on experience. The role will support the CFO through production of monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts within a robust framework of control and processes.
Responsibilities for this Accountant role are:
1. Produce accurate management accounts and KPI’s
2. Produce budgets/forecasts with variance analysis.
3. Maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes
4. Manage Sales Ledger Assistant
5. Ensure accounting policies comply with the relevant accounting standards
6. Prepare monthly profit and loss account and balance sheet for our Group Structure
7. Timely production of statutory and internal financial reports
8. Monitor budgets with action steps to ensure manage any deviations.
9. Stock tracking and management.
10. Ensure all balance sheet items are accurate and reconciled
11. Ensure appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained
12. Review payroll transactions to ensure accuracy
13. Recommend changes that will improve the company's financial performance and financial controls
14. Assist with completion of all financial, regulatory and statutory returns
15. Cashflow reporting and management
16. Manage Supplier payments and terms and build strong supplier relationships.
What we are looking for in our ideal Accountant:
Part Qualified / Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) preferably, otherwise, Qualified by experience. Strong accounting skills with experience in producing accurate management accounts, budgets and forecast. Strong Excel skills, proficient in using IT systems, including Microsoft office software in particular Outlook, Word and Excel. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
