Salary: Grade 11 - Starts at £59,229 rising by yearly increments to a maximum of £66,852 per annum

About the role:
It’s an exciting time to join the Alliance ICT department. We’re about to embark on a 10 year contract with BT to deliver our Managed Services across Devon & Cornwall and Dorset Police Forces. Alongside the new contractual arrangements, we’re restructuring our ICT department to align our people resources to be able to manage the contract delivery and take forward new, key areas where we need to develop our remit to deliver a forward thinking, proactive and results orientated service to our customers and stakeholders.
Digital Engagement forms one of three new teams within ICT – Digital Delivery and Digital Innovation are the other two. The ICT Digital Engagement Manager has responsibility for the supply of ICT services through in-house resource and by third parties, managing contracts, setting commercial and performance targets and ensuring performance delivery across the supplier remit. The Digital Engagement Team encompasses:
1. a Commercial Team with responsibility for procurement, contracts, licensing and service management
2. a Business Partner Team with responsibility for customer service and stakeholder engagement
3. a Project Management Office with responsibility for resourcing and delivering major ICT changes
About you:
An experienced and successful leader and manager, you will have broad all round knowledge and experience of the Information, Communications and Technology marketplace, including ICT business trends, technologies and future developments. Alongside your experience of dealing with suppliers and contracts, you will have strong analytical skills, and a track record in delivering exceptional service covering a wide range of ICT technologies. Importantly, you will be great at collaborating, setting and managing expectations and quickly able to build credibility and establish good professional relationships across our Forces, suppliers and partners.
