PA required for job share in NR10 to assist a young woman, up to 54 hrs/pw @ £11.68 p/h - NORWICH - NR10
I am a 29-year-old woman with Down syndrome and a learning disability. I suffered a stroke which led to a significant decline in my mobility. I am looking for a carer to support me with daily routines including personal care and hygiene, dressing, grooming, and transfers such as moving between my bed and wheelchair.
With your support, I would like to take part in activities like cooking and drink preparation. Help with cleaning and keeping my environment tidy and free of hazards is also needed. I will require your support with attending my rehabilitation and hospital appointments.
Supported activities and going out in the community are important to me. I enjoy bowling, going to the cinema, and various activities including good food, music, dancing, colouring, painting, and having coffee and a chat.
You will help me to regain some of my independence and build my confidence.

Summary terms and conditions:
1. The rate of pay for this position is £11.68 per hour.
2. Hours and times of work: up to 10 hours per day, Monday to Friday between 08:30 and 18:30 and 2 hours per day Saturday and Sunday. Exact days and times advised in advance. Job share with another PA.
3. The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
4. This position requires the employee to complete the following free annual training: GDPR, Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, COSHH, Moving and Handling, Personal Care.
Post is subject to the following:
1. A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
2. Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
3. Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
