We are now recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join the team. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for a range of warehouse duties, such as loading vehicles in a safe, organised and timely manner and ensuring Mattress bays are kept clear.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 6.00am – 4.00pm.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Transferring finished products from the factory floor, storing them in the correct bay location.
2. To ensure products are handled with utmost care and attention and reporting any quality issues in the first instance.
3. Ensure items are moved, loaded, or stored are all scanned in real time, located correctly and accurately.
4. Loading vehicles with products for the next day's delivery.
5. Using a scanning system to locate products.
6. General housekeeping.
Skills & Experience Required:
1. Great position for someone wanting to start or continue their career in a busy manufacturing environment.
2. The role will be extremely varied and fast-paced with heavy handling.
3. You'll work as part of a team with support from a cross section of departments as well as opportunities for training and development.
4. Warehouse experience preferable.
5. Comfortable with manual handling although full training will be given.
6. Good communication skills.
