Job Description
Qualified Social Worker, Team Manager, Hull City Council, Childrens Safeguarding Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team.
The team works extremely well together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Manager.
The responsibilities will include:
1. Manager has responsibility for 5 qualified social workers, a family practitioner and team coordinator.
2. Each team has an ASYE that the team manager would need to support also.
3. Responsible for approximately 120 children at any one time, these children would be supported under Child in Need, Child Protection, and looked after / care proceedings.
4. Liaise with other professionals.
5. 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation).
6. 3 month Temporary Contract.
7. Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance.

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent, must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS and be a car driver.
