About the Role We're looking for a highly skilled Developer to join our team. In collaboration with various teams across the organisation, you'll work on building and maintaining cloud-based web applications for both internal and external use. The tech stack includes PHP, JavaScript, Python, and SQL databases, with a focus on OOP and the MVC framework, Symfony. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining applications, collaborating on complex problem-solving, creating scalable and secure technical designs, ensuring code quality through practices like code reviews and testing, implementing development standards, troubleshooting and debugging issues, integrating applications with REST APIs, and staying updated on emerging trends in the field. About you… To apply for this role, you’ll have a degree in computer science, a related field, or relevant industry experience. Be a specialist in web and cloud-based applications, demonstrating proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, Python, SQL databases, especially in the MVC framework, notably Symfony. Desirable qualifications include experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda, as well as familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Docker. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with effective troubleshooting and debugging abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required for collaborative teamwork.
