We are looking for an experienced community carer to join our dedicated team and support families with sick children.
Newtownards/Bangor area - Mainly overnights - Full time 42 hours per week (may consider 2 staff part time 16/26 hours per week)
About the role - As a community carer, you will:
* Deliver personalised care plans tailored to each child's medical and emotional needs.
* Assist with daily tasks, such as medication administration, feeding, hygiene and physical support.
* Work closely with families, health care professionals and support services to ensure continuity of care.
* Provide emotional support and create a nurturing environment for children and their families.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in caring for children with medical needs, preferably in a home setting.
* Relevant qualifications in health care or childcare (e.g. NVQ level 2/3 Health & Social Care or equivalent).
* Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient approach.
* A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
