Administrative Assistant at J & C Associates Ltd

The services of a detail-oriented and highly organised Administrative Assistant are currently needed at J & C Associates Limited. Qualified individuals are hereby encouraged to apply.

Position: Administrative Assistant

Job Type: Contract (6 months)

Location: Southampton (Hybrid 3 days per week on site)


Main Duties

* Contribute to the guidance to operational teams to influence compliance with relevant policy, legislation and best practice.
* Support the delivery of business plans. Keep up to date on changing legislation and best practice externally, to make recommendations in the organisation.
* Assist with the development of policies and processes and monitor and advise on effective implementation in the organisation.
* Participate in projects, providing input to improve ways of working and organisational efficiency.
* Build relationships with operational stakeholders to understand issues and provide effective responses.
* Provide advice to others on policies, procedures, practices, and techniques.


Qualifications

* Detail-oriented and highly organised Administrative Assistant with robust Excel skills, primarily involving data transfer between spreadsheets, maintaining accurate records, and handling statutory compliance documents.
* Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data visualisation tools.
* Familiarity with statutory compliance documentation and procedures.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) is a plus.
* Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse and interpret data accurately.
* Attention to Detail: Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
* Organisational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
* Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal.
