Early Years Manager - Private Day Nursery, Wakefield
Are you an experienced Early Years Manager with a passion for leading a dedicated team and providing high-quality childcare? We are looking for an Early Years Manager to join our private day nursery in Wakefield, where you will oversee the day-to-day management of the setting and ensure the delivery of outstanding care and education to both funded and private children.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, manage, and motivate a team of early years practitioners to deliver high-quality childcare and education.
* Oversee the smooth operation of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and high standards of care.
* Develop, implement, and monitor the nursery's curriculum to meet the needs of all children.
* Foster strong relationships with parents, providing regular updates on children's progress and well-being.
* Manage staff performance, provide training, and support professional development to maintain a motivated and skilled team.
* Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for both staff and children.
* Manage the nursery's financials, including budgeting, invoicing, and liaising with parents regarding fees.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
* Proven experience in managing a private nursery setting.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and safeguarding regulations.
* Experience in managing both funded and private children's places.
* A commitment to providing outstanding care and education, fostering a positive and inclusive environment for children and families.
* Strong administrative and financial management skills.
