The People Partner
The People Partner plays a strategic role in managing and developing relationships with leaders across the organisation to meet the objectives set out in the company’s business and people strategy. You will provide advice, guidance, and support within all aspects of the employee life cycle to create an excellent employee experience.
To be successful in the role you will have experience in building strategic partnerships, coaching, influencing, guiding, and constructively challenging people managers and leaders to ensure we address the dynamic interplay between employee needs and business goals.
This role is an FTC Part-time opportunity for someone wanting to work 3-4 days per week. The duration of the FTC will be 12 months. It will be based in our London office 1 day per month.
The role.. .
* Act as trusted advisor to managers and senior leadership to provide HR support, gather feedback, and ensure that HR's contributions are relevant and impactful to the business area you support.
* Employee Relations: support and coach people generalists on moderate to complex employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures. Ability to run more complex PIP, investigation and disciplinary processes.
* Talent Management and Development: work closely with business units to identify skill gaps, develop career paths and succession plans, implement talent development programs in collaboration with the OED team.
* Change management: support leadership during organisational change initiatives, such as mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, or process improvements. Provide guidance on change management strategies, communication plans, and employee engagement to facilitate smooth transitions.
* Provide input, insight and coordinate implementation of the performance management process.
* Ensure the company performance and salary planning processes run smoothly. Provide guidance on compensation decisions.
* Data Analysis and Reporting - work with the Operations team to provide people data insights to leadership, so they can make informed decisions and improve employee engagement.
* Project management: Support and where applicable lead on Business Partnering global projects and initiatives.
* Cascade the strategic initiatives of the People leadership team to managers and employees.
The ideal candidate.. .
* Proven depth of generalist HR experience – minimum 5 years.
* Good knowledge of employment law.
* Proven track record in stakeholders management.
* Experience of working on problems of diverse scope.
* Experience of running HR projects.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
