Winter Maintenance Class 2 Driver Location: Trafford, Manchester Salary: £420 weekly rate guaranteed Contract type: 4 Month FTC with future opportunities Working hours: Ad hoc - can vary About the role The Winter Maintenance Class 2 Driver is essential for keeping roadways safe and accessible during winter. This role involves operating snowploughs and other equipment to clear roads, highways, and public areas of snow and ice, ensuring safe transportation. You'll work primarily outdoors in various weather conditions, with call out hours based on weather demands. Requirements Valid HGV Class 2 Driver's License with a clean driving record. Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence). Certification in Snow and Ice Control Operations is advantageous. Winter Maintenance Certification desirable but training will be given Experience in Operating Heavy Machinery or Snow Removal Equipment. Familiarity with Local Geography and Road Systems Why join us?
