Doncaster, Mon-Fri, Term Time only.
Are you a Cover Supervisor with a passion for special educational needs? Academics are currently working with an amazing SEND secondary school that is part of a Multi-academy trust in the Doncaster area who are seeking a Cover Supervisor to join their team on a supply basis.
The Role of the Cover Supervisor:
1. Deliver pre-planned lessons to the students, adapting your method of teaching where necessary.
2. Make yourself aware of, and adhere to the school's policies and procedures, particularly regarding behaviour.
3. Maintain a safe learning environment, ensuring any safeguarding concerns are reported correctly.
A Cover Supervisor must have:
1. A Bachelor's degree as a minimum; a degree in a subject that is taught at Key Stage 3 and/or 4 would be advantageous.
2. At least 6 months of cover supervisor experience, or experience teaching or tutoring children aged 11-16 years.
3. Suitable references covering their most recent 2 years of work/study.
4. DBS on the update service or willing to get one.
