Job Description: As a MASH Social Worker, you will work closely with professionals from various agencies to assess, triage, and respond to safeguarding concerns. You will play a vital role in gathering and sharing information, assessing risk, and making informed decisions to ensure the safety and well-being of children and families. Responsibilities:
* Conduct initial assessments and screening of referrals to identify safeguarding concerns and levels of risk.
* Collaborate with multi-agency teams, including police, health professionals, and education, to gather comprehensive information on each case.
* Make prompt and informed decisions on appropriate next steps, including referrals to social work teams or other services.
* Prepare clear and concise reports, documenting information and actions taken in compliance with statutory and professional standards.
* Provide guidance and support to other professionals to ensure best practices in safeguarding. Qualifications:
* Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
* Experience in safeguarding, child protection, or a MASH setting is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, policies, and best practices.
* Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-agency environment.
