The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Administration Assistant based at our Newcastle Emlyn office in West Wales. You will have a demonstrable track record of working within an admin team within a housing or customer focused environment to support our two award-winning companies to make a real difference to people’s lives, homes and communities.

1. A strong customer focused and empathetic approach to dealing with residents.
2. Able to provide an important part of the administration function and support the Senior Administration Officer with tasks or suitable projects.
3. The ability to work as part of a small, busy team as well as to work alone and therefore capable of organising your workload and making decisions.
4. Someone that has positive and flexible attitude, with strong values that align well to ours.
5. Excellent communication skills and the self-awareness to continuously improve yourself and others.
6. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
7. A proven track record of working in an administration role.
8. A desirable skill for this role is fluency in Welsh, enabling you to converse comfortably with customers and to comprehend and compose emails in Welsh.
What you will be doing?
Using the WWH values, you will demonstrate effective skills and behaviours to confidently be a part of the administration function and provide assistance and support to the Senior Administration Officer and wider team. You will enable the delivery of services to our residents by providing effective administrative support to all departments within the Group.
You must also be a good communicator and provide a high quality, friendly customer-orientated reception service. Reception duties form part of this role and therefore you should be able to provide good customer service when dealing with the general public face to face.
This role includes supporting the delivery of a high quality service by responding to external partners delivering this service on behalf of the Association as well as taking personal responsibility for dealing with resident/staff queries.

Where is the role based?
You will work from our office based in Newcastle Emlyn (soon to move to Cardigan upon completion of Construction of our new Office).
