Description About the Team The Fundraising and Engagement area includes Cancer Council SA’s fundraising, communication, prevention and advocacy, marketing, and customer experience teams. About the Role The Events Lead at Cancer Council SA, plays a pivotal part in delivering high-quality and impactful events that effectively profile the organisation and align with its objectives. Working under the direction of the Fundraising Campaigns Manager the Events Lead will work in collaboration with internal teams, key stakeholders, and external partners to plan, execute and evaluate a diverse range of events such as; webinars, educational conferences, campaign launches and workshops. Whilst developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and external partners, the role will work across the organisation collaboratively with teams to bring their business objectives to life through engaging events delivered within scope and budget. Skills And Experiences About You Demonstrated experience in event management, communications, and/or media. Outstanding organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Immaculate attention to detail and accuracy. Proven track record in delivering high-profile, quality events that meet organisational and budget outcomes. Ability to analyse and interpret data and trends in social media and digital channels Strong influencing and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships. The role is backfilling parental leave and is being offered as a 12 month fixed term opportunity. We can offer flexibility in hours and working arrangements.
