Our client, a prominent consultancy firm within the rail sector, is seeking a Construction Support Project Manager to join their team on a contract basis or permanent. This dynamic role involves hybrid working, including site visits to various locations, such as Calvert and Banbury, for a minimum of three days per week. This is a critical opportunity to support our client's workload for the HS2 project. Key Responsibilities: Establishing and managing a team to deliver construction support services Responding to TQ's / FCR's / MAR's and other technical queries Reviewing Temporary Works designs for integration with permanent works designs Reviewing and approving permanent works materials Evaluating shop drawings and fabrication details for consistent integration with permanent works Reviewing I&M data and performance of GI observational approaches against design models Producing as-built records and details Providing safety leadership across the organisation Contributing to and attending Quarterly Progress Reviews Monitoring and supporting Site Support and Site Assurance Teams Liaising with the Delivery Director to secure necessary office-based resources Job Requirements: BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng in Civil Engineering or a related field Experience in construction management, particularly within the rail sector Proven experience developing and implementing solutions in construction projects Strong leadership and team-building skills Excellent people management and motivational abilities Proficiency in coaching and supporting team members Effective decision-making skills and ability to provide clear directions Ability to influence at the Project Director level Flexibility to adapt to changing environments and project demands Benefits: Competitive contract terms Opportunity to work on the prestigious HS2 project Hybrid working arrangement Supportive and collaborative team environment If you are a skilled Construction Support Project Manager passionate about rail projects and seeking an exciting contract role, we would love to hear from you.
