Job summary The post holder will assist in establishing the change, benefits realisation, communications and training for the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Programme as part of the overall delivery of the Trust's Digital and Information Strategy. This innovative and specialist work will include preparation of change activities and supporting the EPR Project team in running these. This work will include analysing inpatient and outpatient work practices, working with our stakeholders' recommending changes to processes to achieve increased efficiency and enhanced effectiveness. Therefore, the post holder will be required to have excellent communication skills to converse with staff, contractors, patients and stakeholders on a regular basis. The post holder will support working with staff at the point of care, middle office, clinical and senior management to streamline Trust activities. Part of the role will be to support the Digital and Information team and ERP team in presenting to senior management teams on changes in the service and processes. Offering prompt advice and support to staff of all levels and responding to ongoing and new needs. Main duties of the job 1.Support the overall EPR Programme as required, including supporting events such as quality improvement, pathway mapping within the wider context of the Digital and Information Strategy 2. Promote the use of the new system within the Trust encouraging both data completeness and data quality 3. Maintain good relationships with end users, acting on suggestions, contributing to the understanding and optimisation of system configuration options 4. Act as a link between users and the wider Digital and Information team to ensure user feedback is incorporated into future system changes and business processes and that system enhancements and business processes are effectively communicated to users 5. Undertake analysis, interpretation and presentation of data and information to support planning and decision making of the new processes 6.
