Overview

The internal Berry auditing programme forms a large part of the H&S management system and offers the opportunity to become an Auditor, which could lead to further professional development and would include some UK & international travel.
Qualifications
1. NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent)
2. Knowledge of EHS regulations and associated requirements
3. Previous experience in an EHS role
Responsibilities
To ensure key business standards relating to health, safety & environment are implemented and adhered to.
Main Tasks
1. Ensure the site adheres to current H&S Legislation and stays compliant by continuously reviewing the legal register. Collect, analyse and report all KPI data to agreed deadlines.
2. Ensure corporate policies and initiatives are implemented and communicated to all employees.
3. Support and work with departmental managers in all aspects of H&S management to ensure it is up to standard in their respective departments, with a strong emphasis on risk assessment, training and auditing.
4. Drive full compliance with the internal H&S Berry auditing programme.
5. Implement and maintain the Environmental ISO 14001 Standard and ensure the site's environmental impact is evaluated and objectives and plans are implemented.
6. Ensure Operation Clean Sweep is fully implemented and adhered to, continuously promoting and educating all employees to ensure full compliance is achieved.
7. Liaise with all departments to ensure that company rules and procedures are followed at all times.
