About the Academy:
Outwood Academy Riverside, founded in September 2020 through the Free Schools Programme, implements the Riverside values program for all students at the start of every academic year. The academy is dedicated to the wide variety of students who enrol, ensuring strong routines and top-notch pastoral care for all pupils. Located at Russell Street, Middlesbrough, Outwood Academy Riverside is set to have a new school built on Pioneering Way close to Middlesbrough College. Additionally, a satellite site in Eston recently opened in September 2024, for our new year 7 students, as the school continues to grow.
About the Role:
As a PLC Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the bespoke provision within the academy. Joining an established inclusion team, you will promote the learning and welfare of vulnerable students with the aim of reintegrating them back into the classroom. You will be supported by senior leaders and other pastoral staff within the academy to manage the provision and provide appropriate and personalised support for individual students and groups. While this can be a challenging role, this is one of the most rewarding positions within our academy, with excellent career progression and CPD available.
