Job Description:
Job overview
The Greater Manchester Resilience Hub (GMRH) is a unique, all age, psychology-led service originally established as a partnership between all the NHS mental health provider trusts in Greater Manchester in response to the Manchester Arena Attack on 22nd May 2017. We have since expanded to develop multiple workstreams, which creates a varied workload.
In addition to providing support to all those impacted by the Arena attack (a nationwide service), the GMRH also provides a staff wellbeing service for health and social care staff across GM. The Hub supports partner organisations in responding to major incidents across GM, provides a range of specialist training on trauma-related issues and is increasingly providing consultation to partner organisations who are developing trauma responsive approaches.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, an understanding of trauma-responsive approaches and a willingness to both embrace and promote change is essential for this role. You will have the opportunity to work within a supportive team and make a key contribution to an innovative service which is leading the way nationally in delivering all-age, family focused, psychosocial and trauma responsive care.
This opportunity is a fixed term contract or secondment until the end of March 2024 with the possibility of extension.
Main duties of the job
Please see attached job description and person specification which specifies the full details of the role.
